Gallery Post Removing HTML

I recently purchased the Orchard theme, and I am extremely impressed with the design, options and code. I'm just having one problem: all of my posts will be using the Gallery post format, but when published, it removes the html tags. That's a problem because I will need to use html to format some subheadings and add some hyperlinks.

I have been researching solutions for several hours, and I learned that the problem is in the content-gallery.php file. The apply_filters function is stripping out the html. But when I remove the filters and replace it with <?php the_content(); ?> then it adds the html back to the published post, but it changes the format of the post (see the attached photo). Is there an easy way to fix this?

I am running the most recent version of the theme (1.0.2).

    Thanks!

The  html is now working fine, but on several browsers and devices the gallery shortcode on single posts does not appear.

    Thanks.

Do you use some third-party plugins, maybe plugin for cache? Can you test site without this plugin?

That was the problem! Thanks! I was purging the cache but it wasn't working, so I just deactivated the cache plugin entirely and it works now. Thanks again.
