Light & Dark Header Settings

    No matter what, I cannot get this header to change colors! For one, I can't find where to set the header background color. What I realized is that every page can override the theme settings; however, I can't find where to change the header background color whether I chose light or dark. Ultimately, I'd like a black background header using a contrasting logo using white lettering.

    1. Where do I change the "light" or "dark" header background colors? (It is not in Theme Options > Header.)
    2. Can you give me definitive instructions on how to create a black header with white menu links?

    Thank you.

    Hello.

    Please update theme to 1.3.

    Go to Theme Options > Header. Select 'Alternative Color Scheme = Light'.

    Go to Theme Options > Customizer > Backgrounds. Choose Header Background.

    Thank you for your reply.

    That worked pretty well, although I had to upload the light logo to the regular logo fields because changing the Alternative Color Scheme to light (or dark) didn't work.

    Also, the sticky header is still white. How do I adjust the sticky header color scheme?

    Hello.

    Update theme to version 1.3.

    P.S. Sticky header doesn't have customization options.

    Yes, I updated to 1.3 per your instructions.

    So to be clear, the sticky header must remain white, even if the regular header is black?

    Sorry for delay. Weekends.

    We can send you custom css code. But you have to decide with Header options because custom code can conflict with other settings.

    Yes, that will work because the site owner won't want to change the header color anytime soon. However, will updating the theme in the future remove the custom code?

    Custom code will be saved.

    Thanks. For now, I used the following to change the sticky menu's background color to black. I inserted this in the Custom CSS field in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

    .classic-logo-centered.stuck .menu-area-wrapper {
        background-color: #000000;
    }

    Is there a more efficient way? Please provide if so.

    No. Only Custom CSS.
