Is it possible to disable the standard enabled /project/ page?
I want to create my own project page and change the permalink for single-project pages. For example my project page would be /downloads/ and the single-project page would be /download/%postname%/.
The reason I want to create my own project page is because in the theme options i can't customize all settings. For example i can't disable "Use double height and double width view". Which I can disable with the VC Builder.
You can do it this way ( screenshots )

Thank you for great 5 star rating for our theme on ThemeForest. We really appreciate it.

Thanks for your help. The solution you gave me isn't what I'm looking for. Because now all the posts starts with /download/. I also have blog posts with /download/blogpostname/.
Isn't there a way to just disable the Project settings in the theme options?
The permalink also has a conflict with the theme settings (see attached picture below).
So the permalink of a single project page would be /downloads/project/%postname%/.
If changing the project base permalink to /downloads/, my own downloads page gets overridden by the theme options enabled page.

You can try this ( steps )

This did not work. I just want to disable the theme-options for blog and project.
Try to use a third-party "Custom Post Type UI" plugin , distributed free of charge, to create custom post type "downloads". Our theme and our "projects" are not designed for this functionality.
